To the Rappin family. Phyllis was my good friend. We worked together at 101 E. Erie for, I think, 17 years. We shared many laughs and fond memories. Her family may remember me because I drove her to her daughter´s home in Buffalo Grove once after work. We were both artists and enjoyed discussing art often. She was one of a kind. Funny, smart, and a tough cookie. A beautiful lady too. I was just told about her passing today. So sad to hear that. I lost my father about 2 months ago at age 82. I read Phyllis was 88 at the time of her passing. That´s a pretty good run! I have thought of her many times over the past 10 years since we parted ways. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be missed!!
