SIMPSON, PHYLLIS IONE Phyllis Ione Simpson, 75, of Hattiesburg, MS died Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at Bedford Care Center - Hattiesburg, MS. She was born January 27, 1928 in Englewood, CO. She is the daughter of Iris Gwendolyn (Gordon) Molander and Charles August Molander, both deceased. She was formerly from Ault, Greeley, and Denver, and had lived in Hattiesburg, Mississippi since 1989. She married George Simpson and they later divorced. She retired from AT&T on December 30, 1989 after 32 years of employment. She was a staff manager of operator services. Survived by former husband, George Simpson, Ault, CO; daughter, Billie R. Hirsch, Hattiesburg, MS; sisters: Marie Nylander, Denver, CO and June Vedack, Coosbay, OR; brother, Melvin Molander, Greeley, CO; grandchildren: Jessica Hirsch, Atlanta, GA and Jeremy Hirsch, Seattle, WA. Celebration of Life, 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at Allnutt Funeral Service Macy Chapel. There was cremation. Burial, Linn Grove Cemetery, Greeley, CO.
