Placida Alarcon passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26th, 2025 at Sky Park Gardens Assisted Living in Sacramento, CA. She was born on February 11, 1932 in Bryte, Yolo County, CA. to Reymundo Alarcon and Carmen Marques. Placida was preceded in death by her father Reymundo and mother Carmen; daughters Rita Trejo, Tina Raya and son Raul Garcia Jr. She is survived by her son Alfred (Rocky) Trejo Jr., daughter-in -law Terri Trejo, and son-in-law Rudy Raya; Grandchildren; Alfred Trejo III (Jessica), Mysty Trejo, Summer Raya (Albert), Leilani Garcia (Tony), Orlando Garcia, Rudy Raya Jr. (April) and Aaron Raya (Angelina); Great grandchildren: Angyl Trejo IV, Tylyr Cruz, Jordyn Mcgee, Juanito Garcia, Jamar Sullivan, Ricky and Cyanna Baker, Albert Jr. Kates, Riley, Gabriel, Kash, Luke, Mia, Lil. Aaron and Gabby; Great-great grandchild: Anthony Jr. and numerous nephews and nieces.

Placida will be missed dearly by her family and friends. We would like to thank the staff from Sky Park Gardens Assisted Living and Suncrest Hospice who cared for her.

Memorial services will be held at 5 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses located on 7405 Lemon Hill, Sac., CA

one of my favorite memories of my aunt placida "tiny" was when my cousin summer took me, tina, and cousin ricky when he was very young to her house and aunt placida cooked and talked about great memories and showed me her colorful garden. she loved her garden and was very proud of it!

i'm so sorry for all of the families loss of aunt placida. you will all be in my prayers and thoughts!
