Mr Peebles was a great man he was kinda like a father to me. He always told me to love and respect my mother and he always was there to cheer me up when I wasn't having a good day. He was a great mentor, and always met my mom with a heart warming smile. I will miss you and will never forget your words, Rest in pest peebles.

Mr. Pebbles you were great with my two children at the Lynn Road after school YMCA Program. You were always positive and the way you cared for your daughter was awesome.I'm at loss for words and wish you were able to stay here longer. My prayers are with your family, especially your children. They had a great father who loved them so much.I ask God why....but have to just leave it in His hands.Your life was not wasted and you touched the lives of other children.

Powell Peebles- awesome person. So grateful to have known him and had the honor to call him my friend. I hope and have faith that healing will come to all hurt by his departure. There is a void left that cannot be filled. I will miss you immensely, my friend.

My wife and I moved next door to Irvin and Sarah Peebles and their children in July, 1976 and remained a friend of the family. Ron was three years old when we befriended the family. We were privileged to witnessed his growth and development supported by a loving family. He was a young man I was proud to know. He was a kind and gentle young man one would be proud to call his own. Our family, Judy, Ayana and Toccara, will always remember your pleasent smile. (RIP)

I first met Ron in Kindergarten at Sherwood Bates. We remained friends through high school. He was always so kind and generous. My thought and prayers are with his family.

Our Lynn Road Family will not be the same without Mr. Peebles. (No, I can't call him anything else...) He was a positive force of life! I enjoyed our candid conversations and his dedication to his family. He was a daddy who went on field trips and offered to help teachers and our school family- even if we didn't actually teach his daughters. :) He was truly one of our family members who will be greatly missed. He impacted the lives of people young and older...lots of us have such happy thoughts and stories to share.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. S and S especially- to lose a father is life changing...to lose one at such young ages - even more so.
Love and hugs to all, Mrs. Bryan

I could never imagine this in a million years. We met in college pledged Alpha Phi Alpha together. You became my line brother, friend and role model. We watched each other grow up to be men. This is really a hard pill to swallow. I love you LB. I will never forget your smile, cooking good food on the grill during homecoming, talking about life and most of all being a good family man. Homecoming will never be the same without you. I am glad that you became my line brother, spent time with me at the crib, spoke over the group chat etc., those were some great times. I will cherish those memories forever. I will watch over your family. The frat will surely keep your legacy alive. Please watch over and guide us down the right path. I will mourn you til I join you. #1, #31Flavors, #Mylinebrother, #friendforlife.

Ron I have been knowing you since College. We pledged Alpha Phi Alpha together. We became brothers through the fraternity and even after. I still hear your voice when you would see me you would say, "Steve I want to be like you" my response was you want to be better than me. In a lot of ways frat I admired you for the man you became. I love you and will forever miss you, your smile your energy but most of all your presence. I will watch over your family. Rest Easy #1, #31Flavors, #PotbellyPowell, #mylinebrother. I will forever mourn you til I join you. 06 frat.
