Veena and girls,
Before this guest book for Prakash goes off line, I wanted you to know how often his name has come up in conversation over this past year. I signed it one year ago, and sure miss seeing him on my infrequent trips to Richmond from Vernon. Our Vernon White Spot would have so benefitted by having Prakash at the helm, let me say.
There is no good service, even when there is hardly a customer in the venue! No long lineups day in and out, as at Richmond Centre with him in charge!
luv to your family at the 1st anniversary of his passing. I trust time is being a healer.

I was stunned to watch the Global News cast this Christmas Day to find out that Prakash had passed away earlier this year. It was my regular Sunday ritual when I worked in Richmond & would pop in for brunch before my shift. He was always so kind & treated you like a VIP when you came into the restaurant. Truly a one of a kind Gentleman.

One of the reasons that we would choose to go the the Richmond Centre White Spot was because of Prakash! He truly made us feel welcomed as patrons and took very good care of us. He made all his guest feel like they were getting special treatment. He always took the time to chat and treated you like you were a friend. He will be greatly missed.

I will also remember and be profoundly grateful for how Prakash treated my husband, Brian, when he had cancer. We had been customers for years and the two laughed together often. When Brian became ill, and could not always finish his meal, Prakash refused to charge him for it. When Brian passed away, many of the staff came to his service and they donated to the cancer foundation in his memory. Prakash had a great love for his guests and his loss is a great loss to the Richmond community. My condolences to his lovely family.

Dear Veena & girls,
How deeply saddened I was to see that your beloved Prakash has passed. Because of the love Prakash had for humankind, the Richmond Centre White spot was a favourite eatery. He treated staff and customers with great respect and dignity. His legacy of Christmas Day will live in so many hearts, as will thousands of patrons who frequented his eatery regularly. Prakash was so generous each time I sought gift certs. for one of my fundraising endeavours, just saying "sure dear, just tell me how many you would like!"
Veena, I will always fondly remember the love he had for you, proudly introducing hiw beautiful wife.
Dorinne, Bonnie and I had a wonderful conversation Dec. 16th with Prakash, when I had flown down to a funeral. We needed our comfort food and a chat with Prakash. Little did we know how ill he was, he made light of the collar! We must honour his memory by spreading our own love to others we meet.
Deepest sympathies to you 3 and your staff.
Ruth-Anne (former employee of RC Customer Service.

I am so sad to hear about the passing of Prakash. I really enjoyed my time with Prakash in my years at White Spot. He was a terrific operator and leader - he always had great ideas to improve the guest experience. I loved that he worked to learn Cantonese and Mandarin to better communicate with his guests. His Christmas day philanthropy has been well documented and really made an impact on the community - we made it part of our families Christmas tradition for several years. Deepest sympathies to family and friends.
