I positivly LOVE you.Its been 5 years,and every year, something comes up and I cannot go to Paisley Park to pay my respects to you.Im hoping next year is my year.So many of your songs helped me through rough patches or joyful patvhes in my life,My first of many concerts ,I waited overnight in the rough part of town,alone,i was 17,nervous little one,But I wanted to see you.So i did it,They let the first 7 in and that was it,your concerts always sold out in mere moments.9 minutes,we had sold put,and I had mine!I wore a custom made concert outfits to every one of your concerts.My daughter was even born in 1999!Her name is Oceana and she grew up listening to your songsThe child friendly ones!I miss you every day.In college I went backstage with my college roommate to meet you.I was so shy..I couldn't find my words.I hope next year is my year.I will always Adore U.One day when God calls me,I hope to see you again.

4/21 is still so hard for ALL Prince fans worldwide. Prince was, and is, the epitome of a soul that came to us overflowing with love, and music, and light. With Prince, there was a depth of understanding that you got when listening to his music that just took you to another place.

Many times, we develop a relationship with a musician because their work touches us on a spiritual, social, or physical level. Whether it's the kind of people they were, or the lyrics they write, people identify with these things. Lyrics seem to be about our lives and resonate with our current situation. For many of us, music is there when no one else is. Music understands us and doesn't judge. When we lose an artist who has understood us and given so many positive memories, it is like a part of us has died too.

Through his music, we were able to express what seemed impossible to say. Through his creativity, we were able to imagine and dream the incredible, to create a new reality. Through his hard work and determination, we were able to believe in the ability to overcome those obstacle set before us.

It will be 5 years come April 21, 2021. It still doesn't get easier to take since he left, but it is comforting to see so much love we all share for him. In his beautiful heartfelt words, I will repeat that Sometimes it snows in April, Sometimes I feel so bad, Sometimes I wish that life was never-ending. And all good things they say, never last! I will add in his words and some of my own, I often dream of heaven and I know that Prince is there. I know that he has found so many friends. I met Prince while walking to a Bath & Body in Kenwood in Cincy. He walked over and put my hands into his and I was wondering: "who is this man holding my hands?" I just stood there and I didn't say a word. After a few minutes, he released my hands. He gently laid his hand on my shoulder as I started walking on my way. I stopped because it hit me that "that was Prince." I turned around to find him. It was too late. I didn't see him in the crowd. He had a kind and gentle spirit. This ole lady (me) think about him every once in a while. When I heard the news that Prince had died, the news laid heavily on my heart. I did go out and buy some of his music since I had none. I wanted to know what kind of music he had made. I wished I had talked with him when I had the chance and told him about Jesus.

My name is Lisa Edwards I was devistated when I found out Prince passed away. He was my all time favorite male singer of all time. My world came crasing down on me the day he died.
