When I was grown up Charles was like my father. I had not seen him since my mother past in 2008. My heart hurts for not knowing until now. He was a great man and will truly be missed

When I read the email of Prince Charles death (my high school boyfriend) and very close friend it was heart breaking. My condolence goes to his family and Diane my love. "GOD IS ALWAYS GOOD" and he has plans for all his children.

There is such a void here with Charles gone -- I miss his daily greetings, his lunchtime chats and his wonderful stories. My condolences to all his family and friends.

One of the best, most loyal men I have ever known. I will miss his smile and unique greeting "Lance Clark!" ---- my first and middle names. Truly a gentle giant with whom we placed our greatest trust, our friendship nd our families.

All of the times I would see him at Dan Jr's. office, he was always cheerful and waiting to greet another day. I felt they shared a special kinship. He left us much too soon. A true gentleman who has blessed each one of us with our own very special memory.

Great guy with big heart and super attitude. Will never forget my recommended medication for his sore toe - BC powder and a tall boy - it worked and we laughed a lot many times over that story
My pleasure to have known Charles

Only had the chance to meet you a few times, but every time we met you were very encouraging. May the Lord continue to bless your family.

You had to DO IT YOUR WAY!
You will always be with me and loved by me!
I will miss your Check-up calls and fussing! But I know you cared and loved me.
You said you wanted to go home and you did without a warning!
My heart is so heavy, But GOD granted you your wish! For that reason I'm Glad!
Love always, your little sister, Dianne.

Uncle Charles(Scooter),
I am sooo very much sad that you have left us. Can't believe you and my dad are gone. I thank you for calling and checking on me, picking up where he left off. I know that you have taught me to be proud of our family and hold my head up high. I am thankful when I saw you last in the hospital you cracked me up before I even sat down. Your extreme protectiveness will be missed. I up-lift you in the name of Jesus.
Love always, Michelle
