He was a real swell guy he helped me when i was starting .y career as a rodeo clown very helpful

There will never be anyone to replace a MAN with Quails gentleness an honesty

God bless Quail. Was an inspiration for me to to start clownen rodeos and fighting bulls. As I rember when he told me that if somebody gonna take a Hooken or a stompen in that arena it best be you as you are the cowboys protector. I had great respect for Quail as I was also an elected Texas Justice of the Peace in 1991 in Dickens County Texas about 100 miles from Cohomma.

To the Quail Dobbs family I send condolences . I lived in Coahoma until 1952. I knew a "Biddie" Dobbs. I loved going to rodeos at Big Springs as a child..

When I was a kid he and my Grandfather were friends so every year at the Houston Rodeo he would let me come hang out behind the shoots with him and the other bullfighters. I thought I was on top of the world getting to do that several times each year. He never made me feel unwelcome and I'm sure I was in the way. They definitely broke the mold with that whole bunch.

Sorry to hear about your lost. I watched him many years in the Spooner rodeo in Spooner,wi. He was a great guy.

I started to clown 26 years ago cause of u 26 years I still clown from the heart bump a nose I always say every good clown goes right to heaven u will be miss best rodeo clown ever

So sorry for the loss of the best rodeo clown around I will never forget the day my stepdad Willis Paul Gentry (Red) took me to the state fair to meet his cousin none other than Quail Dobbs didn't take him long to introduce me and Mr. Dobbs treated me like a cousin as well and asked me if I wanted to help him that afternnon in the arena it was so cool picking up his tires and other parts after the explosion of his car he will never be forgotten.Love ya Quail Dobbs

He was awesome! Quail had dinner at our house one time before a rodeo. I will never forget him, he will always be remembered by my family. My brother was in awe of him.

I remember when Quail would perform at the Hugo PRCA Rodeo and done a great job fighting those man killer bulls. I will always remember him. My thoughts are with his Family.

We are never prepared for death so please find comfort in knowing sickness, pain and death will one day be no more for this has been promised us. So please accept my condolences for your loss.

He was the best.I seen his act so many times and laughted every time.When he would throw that little fit and jump up and down and his knees as high as his head I would just get down laughting.
