Quami Clarke

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Quami Clarke, who left us on September 23, 2024, at the age of 19. Born in Portland, Maine, Quami spent most of his life with his friends and relatives in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston.

Quami cared deeply for his family. A beloved son of Letita Clarke, Quami is survived by his cherished siblings, Timothy and Lilliana. Quami was predeceased by his stepfather, Timothy, whom he greatly missed. His family remembers Quami as a wonderfully funny and charismatic soul who brightened every room he was in.

Quami touched the lives of all who knew him. He was a kind and thoughtful friend, student, and community member. Quami finished his education at Excel High School on September 10, 2024, where he worked hard to receive his high school diploma. Quami's teachers and mentors will forever remember his empathy, his resilience, and his absolutely contagious smile. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and joy that will continue to inspire those who knew him. Quami was deeply loved.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Quami are invited to attend his funeral services to honor and celebrate his life. A viewing will be held on October 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM at the Dolan Funeral Home, located at 1140 Washington Street in Dorchester, MA 02124. A final viewing will take place after the service.
