To our dear friend and Godmother of our children, Sandra. We just heard of the loss of our very special friend and our children's Godfather, Dean. We loved him and will miss him very much. I'm so sorry we weren't there for the funeral. We did not know until today when a colleague of Eric's told him. If there is anything we can do, please let us know.
Sincerely,
Eric, Kristi, Christian, Kalei and Noah Dotson.

Dear Sandra and Family,
We just heard the news about Dean from my mother in Bristol. Our deepest sympathy goes to all of you. He was without a doubt the shining star of all the people we met in our educational endeavors, and we were fortunate to know him as a professor/advisor and good friend. While we are saddened by Dean's passing, we know he has been welcomed as a "good and faithful servant".
God bless you,
Bill & Marilyn Dunn

I have known Dean since he was a small boy. He was my neighbor while growing up. You have my sympathy and prayers during this time of sorrow. He will be greatly missed.
