To Dave's dearest family,
It was a privalege to have you, Sharon and Dave as our best and beloved friends over the many years of our relationships. David was the best friend anyone could ever have. He was closer than any family member could ever be. The memories of our many trips, shared tragedies and happy times will always be in our hearts. Sharon you are in our prayers and will always be our sister in heart and we will always be there to share our lives together through the comming years. What was the frolicking foursome is now the angel and the three fearsome musketers. I am so happy we are uncle Jim and aunt Bette and part of the Wilson family. Dave was the best and will always be with all of us in spirit and memory.
Love, Jim and Bette

As a Labor Mediator for the State of Michigan, I worked with David many times over the past 12 years. We settled many difficult negotiations together and I always enjoyed working with him and feel that we had become good friends in the process. I was formerly an air traffic controller until I was fired by Ronald Reagan for striking in 1981 (PATCO). David and I would enjoy sharing stories about flying when we had a chance to break from the stress of negotiations. I will miss his humor and his friendship. I know that I speak for the mediation staff when I say that he was a professional we all enjoyed working with.
