Rachel was more of a Mother to me than my Aunt. I remember as a child watching as she bundled up to cross the road and feed the pigs; go out back to fetch the eggs for breakfast for Uncle Floyd, Daddy & all the other hunters. Most of all I remember how all her life all she ever cared about was the children. She will live on forever in all of us. My heart is with you all.

Rachel came into my life shortly after my marriage to her brother Bill. She was always baking something -- her kitchen had the grandest aromas! She cared for children and animals and thought no one on earth was better than her brothers, and later, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She visited us in California after the death of her husband. Rachel will live on through the memories we all have of her -- a very gracious lady!

Rachel was a truly lovely lady--I only knew her from both of us working at school, but I know she loved the kids and her job at school--she just couldn't stay retired! We will all miss her smile and her friendship. We love you Rachel.

I have lost a very dear friend of many years. Rachel was a very dedicated and devoted lady who did all for her family, often going without so she could do more for her children. She will be greatly missed. Deepest sympathy to the family. Louise (and Roger) Kellogg
