Raffaele A. Perrini

Raffaele (Ralph) Perrini, aged 64, passed away on June 2, 2024, in Culver City, California. Born on February 8, 1960, in Faeto, Foggia, Italy, he was the beloved son of the late Giuseppi Perrini and Maria Tocco.

His family immigrated to the United States in 1966 and lived in South Philadelphia where he grew up and went to school.

Raffaele served as sergeant in the US Army for 3 years. He was stationed in Germany in the 244 Chemical Detachment unit, responsible for nuclear, biological and chemical training. He continued his military career as a U.S. Army Reservist for 17 years, during which time he completed officers training in Fort Benning, Georgia earning rank of Second Lieutenant. His time in the military was characterized by his leadership, dedication and a commitment to excellence, qualities that he carried into his professional and personal life.

Raffaele was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.

He began his successful career with Century 21 Real Estate in Philadelphia. He was top sales manager, exceeding his sales goals. Later becoming the Regional Sales Manager at Aamco Transmissions which led him to move to California. The past 25 years he was Senior Vice President and Director of Advertising at Investor's Business Daily in Los Angeles.

Raffaele was a devoted son and father, brother and loyal friend. He loved his family deeply and was always there for them. He was a man of deep faith and lived a life of gratitude.

He had a brilliant mind and a great sense of humor. He had a passion for learning and studying languages.

He enjoyed cooking, reading and solving crossword puzzles. He loved listening to Latin and Italian music, especially Neapolitan songs. His greatest joy was time spent with his daughters.

Raffaele leaves behind his daughters, Isabella (18) and Giovanna (15) ; brothers, Luigi and Tony; sisters, Tina Perrini Vaccino and Anna Babore (Keith); his nephew Anthony Babore (Megan) and nieces Daniela Vaccino, Daria Goodbody , Kristina Babore (George Rohde III) and Francesca Babore (Joseph Cosgrove Jr.). He will we deeply missed by his dear cousins and extended family in Canada and Italy, and his friends

Raffaele was a beautiful human being. To know him was to love him. He will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends.

A private service to celebrate his life was held on Tuesday, August 27, 20024 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Bala Cynwyd, PA
