Wow...I had no idea of the passing of my childhood friend. When his Dad was Pastor of Park Place Baptist, we became friends along with the 3nture family. I remember when we played football along with Lowell in the vacant lot on the corner next to where they lived. When I was music director at Pensacola Baptist Temple at the time his Dad was intrem, I had Raleigh come over and singet one Sunday. He sang, Win the Lost At Any Cost. May the family find comfort in the Lord. He was a very find man.

Raleigh was my mentor, my spiritual leader, my father figure, my best friend, my Raleigh. He encouraged me to do my best and also got onto me when I deserved it, but always backed it with scripture. He lived his life for God and doing God's work. I have never known anyone as devoted to the Lord as he was. He will be missed, but can never be forgotten. I know I will one day be reunited with him. I love you Raleigh, you are a man that changed my life forever and I will love forever. I bet you are preaching to the choir now.
