Ralph Alfred Apodaca

Ralph Alfred Apodaca, a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend passed away on August 26th, 2024, at home in Soledad, Ca. He is preceded in death by his father, Salvador Apodaca, brother Anthony Apodaca and grandparents.

Ralph was born on June 11, 1955, in Indio, Ca, and raised in Salinas, Ca. He was a graduate of Alisal High School and a life-long resident of Monterey County.

Ralph was a radiant entertaining spirit, he loved to work a room, constantly telling jokes, a short (long) story, doing a card or magic trick, and genuinely making people laugh. His presence and laughter were so welcoming. He loved attending and watching wrestling, was a huge movie collector, enjoyed live music and going to concerts. He had an extremely soft spot for animals and cherished his pets. He was passionate about music, knowing how to play the trumpet and guitar. Always willing to share any knowledge.

Ralph was a proud hard working carpenter with more than 40+ years experience. He was appreciative of his FLJ Construction family and enjoyed spending time with them.

His love of God was shared between Freedom Fellowship Church of Prunedale and the Salinas SDA Church.

He is survived by mother Ramona Apodaca, sisters Geneva (Tim) Kemp and Carol Apodaca, daughter Angelic Apodaca, sons Ralph and Timothy Apodaca. Companion and best friend Hilda Wolter, and bonus son Chris James. Numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who were blessed to know and love him.

Memorial service will be held at Salinas Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 46 Villa Street on Sunday, September 29th at 2:00 pm. Celebration of life immediately following at the church.
