Our prayers are with the Bolls family. I can still hear the metronome he used during sectional rehearsals or in trying to pass off music with my clarinet. He was so patient, multi talented, and cared about his students. Even after graduation he would ask my sister about me. Many fond memories of McHi band football games, concerts, Six Flag trips & even marching at the Cotton Bowl for a Dallas Cowboy game all because of Mr. Bolls and his dedication to his students. Now he is assisting and playing with all the angels making beautiful music. May Mrs. Bolls and family find comfort in knowing how many many student's lives he touched throughout his amazing lifetime.

God bless you,
Angie Soriente Marchese-McHi Class of 1972

Mr. Bolls was a lovely man, with infinite patience for teaching the generations of students lucky enough to be inspired by him. He always had some bit of musical or instrumental wisdom to pass along. Heaven's orchestra just got a new first chair clarinet!

Mr. Bolls was one of my high school's band instructors. I fondly remember him during the numerous band trips taken.

He was a good man, and I will miss him--even though I haven't seen him since I graduated from McHi in 1970.

But I still distinctly have memories of him.

My deepest sympathies to his family.
