Ralph Charles Brueckner

Ralph Charles Brueckner passed away tragically on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, with his beloved cat Baybee and dog Presley, at his home on Brueckner Lane in West Hurley, New York. He was born on April 13, 1949, in Kingston, NY to Albert Brueckner and Virginia Angelucci.

Ralph was one of seven siblings, with sisters Linda and the late Ramona, and brothers Karl, Otto, William and Roy. He was married to the late Tracy Ann Jones and was the proud father of his only child, Megan Rene Travis (Brueckner). He held a deep affection for his son-in-law, Michael Travis, with whom he shared many meaningful projects and laughs. Ralph's greatest joy came from being "Pop Pop" to his three beloved grandsons: Isaia, Ethan, and Darius. He was the "cool" grandpa that rode motorcycles!

He graduated from Kingston Highschool in 1967, taking a course in business and was a member of the school's bowling team.

Throughout his life, Ralph wore many hats-taxi driver, police officer, mechanic, metal fabricator, tinker-and even had a background in biochemistry. Yet among all his roles, being a grandfather was the one he cherished most.

Ralph was known for his generous spirit and boundless curiosity. A dreamer and a hopeful soul, he lived with the intention of changing the world one person at a time. He found joy in homeopathy, religion, and nature, embracing each day with a commitment to mind, body, and soul.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire kindness in others. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 7, 2025, from 01:00 PM to 05:00 PM at The West Hurley Park Dug Hill Rd.
