Ralph Cervantes Obituary
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jane (Moreno) Cervantes; his father, Epifanio Valdez Cervantes; his brothers: King Rodriguez, George Cervantes, Moses Rodriguez, and John Cervantes; his sister, Irene (Rodriguez) Shepard; and his nephews, Aaron Rodriguez and Mateo Casas.
He is survived by his children: Eric (Melissa) Cervantes and their children, Joseph Cervantes, and Charlotte Cervantes; Sarah Cervantes and her children, Jack Dixon II, and Liliana Dixon; and Kendra (Josue) Valdez and their daughter.
He is also survived by his siblings: Angelita (Paul) Greviskes, Robert "Paul" Cervantes, Oscar (Mary Jane) Cervantes, Epifanio "Eddie" Cervantes, Rosemary (William) Hyland, Manuel "Mac" (Jim) Horn, Gerard "Jerry" (Elizabeth) Cervantes, and Anna (Rocky) Gomez. He will be remembered by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Central Bible Church, 940 W. Galena Blvd., Aurora, IL, on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. His ashes will be spread in Uganda on the shores of the Nile River. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
