RALPH H. DAVIS

To the Davis family,
My sincere condolences to all of you on your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Ralph for many years starting in the 3rd grade.I have fond memories of spending time at the Davis house in La Mirada growing up. Ralph was one of the suprerfans who always were there to support the 1974 matador football team. I also had the pleasure of being the first team to play in the new LM stadium of which Ralph was a huge part of making happen. He always had a smile and words of wisdom for me.

Thank you for sharing all the photos of your beautiful family throughout the years. I remember when you lived in Houston for a short time before moving back to California. I'm so impressed with the meaningful life Ralph led, and with of his obvious devotion to family. Virginia, how is it that everyone got older except you? You are as lovely now as when I first met you. My heart goes out to you all, but I know your wonderful memories will keep his spirit alive for years to come, with each generation. He made good use of his long life here. I'm sure he will be missed. God bless you all and comfort you.

Although I have been gone from California for nearly 9 years, I will never forget what a crucial role this Ralph had in shaping my life. For 18 years Ralph was more than just my employer. He was a father figure when I didn't have one. The world was truly a better place with him in it.
