RALPH HAKIM Obituary

HAKIM, Ralph W. 87, died March 19, 2018 at the Suncoast Hospice Care Center, following a brief illness. Born in Boston, MA, the son of Salvator and Helen (Hulbert) Hakim, he relocated to Florida in 1994 from Dover, MA. He was a retired Vice President of Information Systems for Evans Products Company Retail Group in Randolph, MA and a US Army veteran. After retirement, he formed his own firm and engaged in multiple ventures. Most recently Mr. Hakim was a volunteer with Guardian ad Litem of Pinellas County. An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of Feathersound County Club, the Polywogs Golf Association, and a former member of the Brae Burn Country Club of West Newton, MA. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 40 years, Mary E. Fulton; his son, Charles Hakim and his wife, Zenaida Vargas Sanchez of Puerto Rico; and two grandchildren Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Suncoast Hospice www.suncoasthospice.org or the St. Petersburg Free Clinic www.stpetersburgfreeclinic.org.
