Ralph Keel Obituary

Ralph was born on September 2, 1920 and passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Ralph was a resident of Huntsville, Alabama at the time of his passing. He served his country during World War II in the Army Air Force and then in the Alabama National Guard. He was married to Lillian. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 14 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jeff Pike officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church Huntsville AL or Northeast Alabama Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Huntsville AL.

Oh my! I just today learned of this wonderful, kind man's death. We will miss you, Buddy as we do Lillian. We spent many late hours sitting at the ball field watching your son and my husband playing fast-pitch softball with Lillian keeping score. What wonderful times we shared. Ralph and Linda....you had wonderful parents. I am so sorry for your loss. Had I known, I would have said a proper "goodbye" to both.

Ralph, I am so sorry about your Dad but he certainly lived a full life. I will always remember the great times we had playing softball and how your Mom used to get on the refs. They are rejoicing in Heaven together, may even seeing Al there too. Prayers for the family. Faye Ashton
