Ralph Herbert Retzlaff

Looked up Ralf on a whim, having remembered him fondly and found this obituary notice. Not really a surprise after all this time, I knew him in the Netherlands many years ago.

He was a gent and a scholar and that it was a privilege to work with him. I had news of him some years ago, longer ago than I realized, from another colleague who called him.

Belated condolences and please know that he's very kindly remembered.

Ralph was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He was a joy to be around. I'm sad that after he had to stop coming to our senior center that I never got another chance to talk with him. Truly a great man.
