Ralph and I worked together for quite a few years in HPD Auto Theft Division. Ralph was always kind and courteous and a terrific person. Ralph was always willing to help someone else or to offer advice. I became a better person and detective for knowing, working with and learning from Ralph. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was privileged to know Ralph when I was in Patrol at North Shepherd Substation and on and off through my thirty years with HPD. There was no finer person or more professional Police Sergeant, I always admired Ralph and sought to live up to his example. Lt. Ret. W H "Bill" Lawrence.
