Ralph E. Smith M.D.

I will miss you so much Grandpa Smith and my heart is with you Grandma Smith. Thank you for always being such GREAT Grandparents.

Ralph was my Father-in-Law; as I am married to his youngest daughter, Cindy. We live in Bermuda, so our visits were necessarily less frequent than in recent years past.



Ralph loved Cindy with all his heart...he showed it to her everytime they were together - and everytime they spoke on the phone. Every Sunday was "Mom and Dad" phone call night - dinner adjusted to that call. Every holiday, every occasion of significance, HE made a special effort to bring smiles to our faces. He made life special for not just Cindy, but for myself.



After 17 years of being around him; he literally became as close to me as my own Dad. He listened, he advised, and he cared. The world lost someone on March 10th, who gave much more than he ever took. Jeanette will have a difficult time filling all the hours of loving and respectful attention that Ralph always showed her. But she is a strong and loving woman...and we will await her Sunday night phone calls as much as ever. God bless Dr. Ralph Smith - thanks for making Cindy the woman she is to me.
