I regret the loss of Dr. Steinman and send my heartfelt condolences to his entire family. Since I saw this obituary, I was wondering if he was a relative of my deceased Grandfather, Solomon Steinman (deceased 1954) and his widow, Edith Steinman (Deceased 1988). Solomon emigrated to the U.S. from Russia around 1900 and my grandmother, Edith was born in Boston in 1900. Any information would be appreciated. My late father, Rabbi Joseph Kelman, was the rabbi in Sherbrooke from late 1953 until 1955 and he always spoke very fondly of the Steinman family.
