Mr. Ralph H. Surette

Ralph H. Surette, of Stoneham, passed away on Saturday April 9, 2022 at his home. He was 86 years of age. Born in Stoneham, Ralph was the son of the late Henry and Jacqueline Surette. Ralph worked for the Town of Stoneham for over 30 years in the Water Department. He was a devout catholic and very active at St. Patrick Parish. He was an avid fisherman. Ralph proudly served as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Ralph is the beloved husband of the late Mary (Forbes) Surette. He is the devoted father of Jacqueline Sayer and her husband James, John Surette, Joseph Surette and his wife Meghan and James Surette. He is the cherished grandfather of Jessica Murphy, James Sayer, Nicholas Stewart Surette, Keriann Surette and John Surette and great grandfather of Maxwell and Lauren Murphy. Dear brother of the late Curtis Surette, Douglass Surette, Edward Surette and May McNulty. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM on Wednesday April 20th, 2022 at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Ralph's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. at 10 am. Interment will be held in Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Tuesday April 19, 2022 from 4 pm to 7 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
