Goodness Ralph, a lot of memories, from your advice when we brought our first home in 1980 through the highs and lows of life you were always there with sage advice and friendship, when we lived overseas you would always remember my birthday with an email, and when we returned you were there with that same advice on insurance ( even the mustang) and friendship.
I'll remember all of the tall stories ,jokes and laughter and that friendship, Rest in Peace Ralph.

Oh, my FirstFather. I will miss your gentle humour and ability to poke a stick at the ridiculous. We didn't see each other much but you have always been an important part of my life. I don't remember the time when you were married to my mother (Heather) as that was over by the time I was old enough to be aware of it but I remember you always being around when I was little and when she was overseas. You were the bestower of Good Books - I treasured the collections of fairy tales you gave me for many, many years before they fell apart. I am so pleased that you, Joy and Mum maintained a good relationship over the years and that you retained your places in our family circle. Your love will remain with me even though your physical presence has gone.
