Dear Lori,
I'm so sorry to hear of this painful loss. Te mando palabras de un poema que a mi me ayuda con el dolor de nuestros queridos perdidos:

"Be my companion. See how the empty woods fill up with light, how frost hangs on each ragged weed for this brief show at dawn. We share the same pleasured. Do we not share the same losses? We can go searching for those you miss, and those I miss, and imagine them here, a sweet recalling. I will say the names of mine to you, and you the names of yours to me. And they will be restored to us. We'll look and think good-bye to the moon, knowing it will fill again for others. Goodbye then, as this day comes, the sun gathering strenghth, making morning of an ordinary day whose end, my companion, you and I do not need to know.

Let us rest here just a bit. The ice makes glorious last autumn's husks. In this strong light, they appear to burn, but they are not consumed."
