Ramon Rogers Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Sep. 23 to Sep. 24, 2009.
1-9-1957 to 9-21-2009 You are a celebration of life. Those who know you need no explanation of you. You lived 1 Corinthians 13 on a daily basis. You are its reflection. You are loved. You are a part of us. We are blessed because of you. Ray is survived by his wife Denise; sons Mikeal, Jeff, Todd and daughter Aimee; grandchildren Felix and Maeva; daughter-in-laws Ryan, Annie and Anna; son-in-law David; siblings Lynn, Barb, Jimmie, Bev and George, and much extended family; four kitties and Mr. and Molly - the dogs. We would appreciate flower bulbs to be brought to memorial for a garden in Ray's name. Please join us in a celebration of Ramon's life and love, on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 6:00 PM, at Squalicum Boathouse, 2600 Harbor Loop Dr. in Bellingham. You may share your thoughts and memories of Ramon in the on-line memorial guest book at www.molesfuneralhomes.com

Denise I have known ray for only a few years because for most of those years I lived a thousand miles away and only recently moved to bellingham. but I always knew he was a quiet patent and gentle man especially recently watching him with our grandchildren who loved him dearly. grandpa john

Denise -
I am so sorry to hear about your loss of your husband. And I am also sorry I couldn't attend the services due to illness. But my prayers are always with you and your family. If you need anything please do not hesitate to ask.

Denise and Family, After attending the memorial for Ray last night it became apparent how many people Ray's life and presence had touched. When I knew Ray we were working on contract negotiations at the Port. By the time we were done with negotiations you could tell that contracts weren't Ray's cup of tea.Years later after Ray had left the Port I ran into him and realized that he had found a home. He seemed truly comfortable with himself.Ray was truly able to help people who were hurting and in need. He could give so much of himself. This was his gift to the world. Knowing him made us all better people. Our thoughts are with you.

My sympathy to you Rogers family. Death of a loved one is always a traumatic situation. God knows how you feel . He gives comfort in scripture. Revelation 21:4 is so encouraging. May it help you through this difficult time.
