Brad & Bart: I was so saddened to learn of the loss of your mother! Your mother and daddy were close friends with my parents when we lived in Rocky Mount before moving to Waycross, Ga. In fact, after we moved to Waycross your mom and dad came to visit with our family there - they were both always so much fun! Brad I have fond memories of our trip to Cherry Stone Youth Camp and your mom was my counselor - boy was she a blast! I will always remember her loving smile and caring heart! I saw her about a year ago when I was visiting in Rocky Mount - there to visit with my aunt, Margie Daughtridge. Myself and several of my sisters saw your mom in the mall and we had a nice long talk about fond memories. I know your heart is heavy as you experience this loss but know that she is finally at peace and with your dad! She loved you both dearly and you will have many wonderful memories to help you through this difficult time. Know that you are in my prayers! May God bless you and lift you up in the days ahead. We all had a great time growing up together at Falls Road Baptist Church.

Dear Family,
I am sorry for your loss. Mrs. Rose was a close colleague of ours in the community for many years and worked tirelessly with the Lung Association. She was a very wonderful and ougoing person who cared a lot for others. We worked together on many occastions. She will be missed.

Dear Family:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Romona lived two doors down from my fiancé's mother, Ms. Willie Joyner. When we went over for a visit, my little girl would run over to Romona's house to visit with her. She really enjoyed Romona's company. Romona was such a loving person. She will be missed.

Even though I had the privilege of knowing her only six months, but spoke with weekly after leaving Rocky Mount, I found her to be one of the most remarkable ladies I have ever met. She is finally with her Savior and "soul mate" who she spoke of often and missed terribly. My heart goes out to her family.

Dear Family:
I extend my deepest sympathy. Ramona lived beside my father on Teal Court for a number of years. She was the most remarkable, kind, loving, and sweetest woman I have known. Her wisdom was so appreciated. I enjoyed talking to her and she helped me greatly. Romona will be greatly missed. It is gratifying to know that another ANGEL is in heaven but sadly missed here on earth. The song by Bette Midler The Wind Beneath My Wings" is the best way to some up her life. Love and Peace to all the family.

Bart you and I have been friends for a long time in fact more then 25 years. Heaven is a much happier place now that your Mom is there. She was a very special and wonderful person and so unselfish. We will miss her dearly. May God comfort and keep you through this difficult time. May she rest in Peace. Much Love.

I had the privaledge of getting to know Mona while working with her on the Board of the local chapter of the American Lung Association during the past three years. She was one of the dearest and most generous people I have ever known. She did love the Lord and was proud to let you know it. She will be greatly missed.

Ramona Rose was a gracious, elegant and wonderful woman. She was spunky and very much a "firecracker" when it came to her passion of fundraising for the American Lung Association. She will never leave my memories.
