On December 30, 2016, Mona G. Russo received her wings to serve her Heavenly Father and to be reunited with her late husband, Guy Russo, Jr.
Survived by her children, son Jeffrey John Russo, his wife Angelle Russo, and her daughter, Jennifer Jean Russo, her fiance, Wyndy Mignon Wood and their son Morgan Lawrence Wood. Mona is also survived by her parents, John Elbert Gauthier and Rita Mayeaux Gauthier. Her siblings, Bruce Gauthier and his late wife Karron Gauthier, their children, Corey LoSordo (Michael), Heather Gauthier, Heidi Gallois (Keith), Richard Paul Gauthier and his wife Jean C. Gauthier, children John Paul Gauthier (Andrea), Renee G. Swift (Casey), Richard Paul Gauthier, Jr., Jason Robert Gauthier (Kristin), and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Her late Mother-in-Law, Leona Monteleone Russo and the late Guy Russo, Sr., Her sister-in-law, Darlene G. Russo, brother-in-law, Daniel Russo (Frances), her nephews, Dax Jason Russo(Melissa), Jason Health Russo and her great niece and nephews.
Mona was a proud Gran-Nan to Grayson and Amelia Swift. She also cherished spending time with her alumni lunch group from Warren Easton High School where she attended.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Friday, January 6, at St. Edward the Confessor Church from 9:30 am until 10:30am, following a mass at 11:00am.
