Services for Randall Scott Buss, 32, Leola will be 11:00 am, Monday, February 10, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church, Pastor Chris Anderson officiating. Randall died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Bath, SD. Visitation: 2:00-7:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, Sunday, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main Street. Randall Scott Buss was born on January 14, 1982 at Sisseton, SD to Anita Buss. He grew up and attended school in Watertown, SD. His family moved to Aberdeen, SD in 1996 where Randall attended school and acquired his GED. Randall had a passion for horses, training and reining them. He worked for Jim McComsey, who was not only a good friend, but was also a father figure to him, whom he trusted and respected. He also worked with Arlene, Dusti and Hayley and lived on their family farm. Randall married Melissa (Madrazo) Buss on July 8, 2005. Three children were born to this marriage; Hunter, Gavin, and Carter. Randall adored his boys. Randall enjoyed riding horses, fishing and having a good time with friends and family which were very important to him. Grateful for having shared Randall's life are his children; Hunter, Gavin and Carter of Freeport, IL, his mother, Anita (Dean Glaesman) Buss Luce of Lehr, ND, his brother, Philip Adajar and his son, Evan of Anchorage, AK, three uncles; Scott and Tamara Buss of Sioux Falls, SD, Waylin and Amy Buss of Harrisburg, SD and Aaron and Shasta Buss of Lake City, SD, his uncle Gerald and Georgia Ramos Guy of Aberdeen, his aunt Rita Ford of MN, cousins: Eli, Ava, Austin, Jackson, Madison, Axton, Gus and Gunnar. Twyla Sattler and her children played a very special part in Randall's life. Jason and Shane Sattler and Dusti and Hayley Swenson were special friends. Jim McComsey and Arlene Swenson provided Randall with guidance, love and support through his growing years. His mother is grateful for all who played a part in Randall's life. Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Wayne and Karen Buss, uncle, Allen Buss, great grandparents, Carvin and Anita Guy and Lynn and Mabel Buss.
