Randall Grigsby Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 25, 2015.
Randall W. Grigsby, 30, of Evansville, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 17, 1985 in Evansville.

Randy inspired many people and touched so many lives and hearts. He was loving, kind and generous; always thinking of others before himself. He had a deep and never-ending bond with his family. Randy was a sports fan and outstanding athlete, having played baseball and basketball. He loved shoes, cars, and 22 inch wheels. Randy fought a long and courageous battle with colon/rectal cancer. He had a never quit attitude that he took to his grave.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the entire community for their love, incredible support and prayers during this dark time. This all proves that "friends don't let friends battle cancer alone."

He is survived by his parents, Darrell and Debbie Grigsby; sister, April Grigsby; 3 nieces, Madisyn, Maycee and Maekyn Grigsby and his best friend and beloved dog, Zoey.

The family would also like to thank Dr. Jerry Like, Dr. Michael Titzer (who was his cancer coach), everyone at OHA, Dr. Karl Sash and the staff at Asera Care Hospice and his nurse, Robert.

Funeral Services will be11:00 AM, Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Bret Myers, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Drive. Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM.
