I am so very sorry and shocked to hear this. Praying for you Karla. This was the best way to reach out and I hope you receive it. I am at a loss for words. My phone number is the same. Thinking of you.

It took me a long time to find a doctor like Dr. King. I had him for my third pregnancy and he delivered my first son on September 1st of this year. He was a very smart and passionate doctor and man, made you feel safe in his presence. I am thankful I had the opportunity to be his patient as he was a blessing compared to my past experiences. He will be forever missed! Continued prayers for his family and close friends.

I cannot say enough about Dr. King. I lost a daughter whenever he first started here, and he cried with me, made me get up and go on with life. Our community has lost a great physician, a great man. Cindy, I am so sorry for your loss! Your in my thoughts and prayers!!! Stephanie Dorris Wentzel

im so sorry I had the best conversation with him a couple weeks ago it made me very heartbroken to find out what happened to him . my heart still hearts because of how much he touched my family and me it was so nice to hear from him I pray that his family will get through this tough time

Dr. King was a wonderful doctor. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He truly took time with his patients and showed compassion and gentle care. May God help his family thru this time of bereavement. Dr. King was a true caregiver and will be missed.

Such a devastating loss. As a patient of Dr. King's for the past 8 years, and now being pregnant with my first child I am deeply saddened to loose such an amazing doctor. It is so hard to believe that he will not be there to deliver my baby. I am truly sorry for your loss and send continuing prayers for his friends, family, colleagues, patients, and all others touched by his life on earth.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Dr. King was a kind and caring doctor. He delivered both of my grandchildren and was to deliver my third grandchild. He was also my doctor and did everything possible to help me and my husband to try to conceive. He will be extremely missed and will live on in our memories. We attended WKU with Randy. I had the pleasure of working with Randy at Helms-Cravens Library in Bowling Green along with Dr Ross Cotton. Dr Mary Lou Wilson-Deen was my college roommate who, later, went on to UK Medical School with Randy. Randy had a true and genuine heart for the Lord. He loved to laugh and joke-around. Dr. King became my doctor at a very difficult time in my life. He was always very kind. I'm so heartbroken over this great loss to all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He took time to speak not at you, but to you. He was a good man. This world has lost a gem.

I was a patient of Dr Kings for about 10 years and he helped my husband and I though fertility problems for four years. Then we were about to conceive and bring a beautiful daughter into this world in 2012 with the guided hands of Dr King through c section. I am now anticipating the delivery of my son on Halloween in which I was excited to have Dr King to be a part of his birth as well. The loss of Dr King had a huge impact on people in Owensboro and surrounding areas. I am convinced I will never find a Dr with as much love, support, patience and kindness as Dr King. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

We were both from the Masonville area and both graduated from DCHS in 1977. You will be missed and remembered.

So sorry for your loss. I know you have heard many great things about him. Here is one more. He was my physician for my last two born children. We attended Owensboro Christian Church together and small group. He knew the struggles my husband were having as a young couple and I feel he wanted to build that bono in our family for my husband so he actually talked my husband through delivering our second born as he stood behind him. It was a magical moment for us. When our third born was born he did the same thing. I believe he did that so that my husband would have a greater bond and commitment to his family. Dr. King was a great physician and member of our community.

Randy was such a special person with an infectious smile and spirit. I had the pleasure of being a past coworker, patient and friend through the years. I have witnessed the impact he made and the lives he has touched through his work and daily life. Our community has lost a very loving and compassionate physician, mentor, son, brother, father, husband and friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you and may the Lord give comfort to the family and all those who loved him.

Dr. King played such a big part in the forming of our family. He was a great doctor and friend, seeing us through 2 miscarriages and 5 healthy babies. Some of my favorite memories are due to him. He actually let my husband deliver our third child, and during the delivery of our fifth, Dr. King put his arm around our 12 year old daughter and let her stand right beside him as our son was born. What doctor does special things like that? He was so loving and caring, and I am so very sorry for your loss. We will always love and remember and talk of him with our kids. He'll always be a part of our story.

I am so terrribly sad to learn about the loss of Randy. my heart goes out to all of the family and I am so honored to know how he served in the healthcare profession and the community as a whole and most importantly served the Lord. Dearest Karla Children Sister/Brothers & Mama King ,It is so hard to think of your great loss.
I know each & every one of you were a vital part to the workings of Dr Kings office.
Dr King & Karla invited me to their home. I know 1st hand that they really care about others.
Cheyenne who is my granddaughter was able to come to his OB office to have her 1st child. We knew right away we had came to the right place. Both Dr King & Karla made us feel like a family member & in 2013 he delivered a beautiful little boy for Cheyenne. We found we could count on the Kings for guidance & appreciation of their office work. We are so sorry for the great loss...But I know because of the promise of Jesus Christ you will see him again when that day comes. Dr King's youngest baby was so cute when she read me a story...you could see the proud smile in Daddy's eyes. I pray for all of the King family to pull together to keep his memory of such a giving person alive. God Bless all of you.

Dr. King delivered all of our Kentucky babies and was an amazing doctor and friend. He saw me through five pregnancies and a miscarriage. He always made me feel like I was the only patient in the office, even when he had a waiting room full of people. He was patient, kind, and had the best sense of humor. He always made a point to ask about my husband, children and what was going on in our lives. He was definitely one of a kind and will be missed by many. May God give comfort to the family and all those who loved him.

We have lost a wonderful man. Dr. King delivered my two wonderful boys & consoled me during my one miscarriage. He took wonderful care of me mentally & physically and was the best doctor I have ever had. He made me feel comfortable & safe & he will be greatly missed. My thoughts & prayers are with his family. I was a patient and also coworker of Dr King for several years..... Thankful for the time I was a very cared for patient but was also a part of his surgical team as he cared for others. Definitely a loss and all my love and prayers to his wife and children.

Dr. King delivered my daughter in 2012 and even though I was a teen mother he treated me with respect as though I were an adult and for that, I am forever grateful. Also fun fact; he delivered me as well for my mother in 1995 on our birthday we now share. We'd always joke about that. An amazing guy with a great sense of humor. Will forever be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of this loss to the Owensboro community. Dr. King delivered my 2 boys, and he saved the life of my Evan. His refusal to give up gave us the greatest gift, and we will always be so grateful to him.
