David, stay strong and remember the good. I remember my first time coming to the house, you three guys were a pack. we laughed, we cried, we lost, and we learned. You are in my thoughts and prayers! (and i still have your drum stick and i named my daughter Ezra) God bless you with peace and love. Valerie Shuff from hospice

What a sad moment to hear of Randy's passing. I worked with Randy for many years at The Advertiser and he was a very kind person. Everyone knew how much he loved his motorcycles and cars. When he would come to work driving something new we always had to check it out.
I live in the Hocking Hills and we would talk often about his favorite places to ride here. I was sad to learn that his accident was just a few miles from my home.
Take care and God bless

Bear....so many years and so many miles. The smile in your photo and it seems like yesterday. Thanks for so many good memories; that Virden sense of humor, definitely one of a kind.
Dave....carry on buddy.

Hey "Dute"...as Bob Lepley said...He and Bear got into all kinds of trouble.
Maybe a Triumph Herald speeding thru fields trying to escape to Rte 37....maybe burning rubber in the Ford GT 390 4 speed that you and Bro talked your Dad into? Quite a stretch fron 64 Ford 3 speed on the tree?..huh...Power of persuation or...or maybe Mom N Dad loved you guys so ...they were always sweet and nice and put up with the basement jammin' and goofy kids invading the house.
Black Honda 50...oh yeah...and on to bigger bikes...as it should be...and more.
I will tell you bout Bear saving my life {literally} when i see you on Sunday.
As you know Bear was a kindred spirit who always had a kind word for many...remember Smiths cabin in Hide Away ?...Beatles n beer..Randolph touched many lives and most will not forget him...That is his true honor that transends his life and legacy. I know I will never forget...

I am so sorry for the loss of your Brother Randy. Thinking of you as you deal with everything that has happened. Randy was a good man that always made me laugh with the stuff he said. Hope to see you up at Valley View this summer for some golf.

Dave:

So sorry to hear of Randy's death. I have so many fond memories of Randy growing up...not the least of which was watching him drive his Porsche's down valley view road at 5 miles per hour, so as to not get tar on them.

Know you will be in my prayer and that of the entire Rowlands family.

David,

Devastating news. Sorry to hear this.... Randy and I always jousted over our individual passions of British and German cars. I'll miss seeing him on the open road this summer. All the best to you and your family.

I have not seen Randy for many years but have fond memories of our golf days at Valley View during our teenage years. He in fact was full of life and enjoyed it even in the early part of his life.

Dave and the family of Randy, please accept my deepsest sumpathies for your loss.
