I am very saddened to find out my buddy passed away. I was more saddened b/c I was on my last night of a week long cruise when I found out and upset b/c I couldn't attend the services to express my condolences and to tell Randy goodbye. Ranette if you read this I will be by soon to talk to you. May God be with you and all of Randy's family in these tough times.

We had great times together with Randy at the Union Hall as well as listening to him play music in his Garage. He made us laugh every time we meet him. Every time I was around Bayou Terrace and he was passing by he would stop by to say Hi and joke a little about Chad. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to the Braud Family. Travis, we were so sorry to hear about your dad. I remember the old times when you would spend the night at our house on Oak Meadow St. We would stay up late telling goofy jokes and just being silly.
I have often wondered how your life turned out. You were a kool little kid that I didn't mind Timmy hanging out with. I pray that you have a relationship with God, and that he will comfort you through all this.

Dear Braud Cousins: Over the years I have spent many hours doing our family history always with the intent that we would have a big family get together and yet there never seemed the right time. Mama and Aunt Enola are now gone and time is slipping. What a shock to hear about Randy. He being the baby is the one I knew the least and I regret not having the opportunity to really get to know him. Aunt Freda always wanted to have a reunion. Maybe now we'll work towards one. Meanwhile, please know you are in my prayers today. I spent the afternoon he died visiting with Aunt Louise and we actually talked about Uncle Fishy and Grandma and Grandpa Braud and some of the good ole days.
