Rest in peace

When Jon and Megan met a met as young boyfriend and girlfriend, it gave us a chance to meet and spend time with the whole family. It was such a blessing to each and every one of us, we were immediately welcomed into their home our kids all became a close knit group of friends and I became friends with Megan´s dad Randy and her mom. He was a very kind person and I never had to worry about my children while under their supervision and they trusted me as well, My heart goes out to the kids and family, know how deep the love runs and I pray for comfort, peace, healing and strength for the family and friends as they navigate through this difficult time, words can not heal the grief you are feeling and from my experience time doesn´t heal it either you only learn how to put it in a box and take it out in your private time but it´s always there, this is what I have learned to do after 5 years this May of losing Jon. Your dad is at peace and in no more pain now he´s now living his eternal life, after giving so much of himself in his short time.

Randy has been in my life since he was born. Though we have been many miles apart for several years, he has always remained in my heart. Randy, Alan, my sister Diane and I all grew up together in Momence, and Aunt Jane took care of us. Such an important part of my growing up years. Randy, you will be missed. I love you. Randy Denton will certainly be missed a was definitely taken to soon.
I went to Jr. an High school in Momence with him an he was my first love of my Life. He Was certainly a special person with a warm heart and a spirted soul.

My first childhood friend in life and remained that friend throughout life. Love you and your family bro. I pray they can find peace in their hearts and mind during this trying time.
