Our family's warmest thoughts and prayers go to his family, as well as the Air Force community who considered him one of its favorite sons. He will be missed by all.

Randy - I know you're paying attention to what is going on since you left us, because you were always aware of what was going on around you. To say you worked hard is an understatement; to say you lived life to the fullest is an understatement.

A great way to live life! We will miss you greatly!

Our deepest sympathies and prayers go out to Randy's family during this most difficult time. It was an honor and privelege to fly with Randy in the Air Force Reserves. He left us all with many happy memories. To know him was a gift. Randy has given us a lot to remember him by and we intend to keep him alive with a toast every time we get together with one of our old Air Force buddies. I am Randy's second cousin. His grandad and my dad were brothers. He sounds like he was a wonderful man. I wish that that I could have known him.

We never know when death will come, but when it comes to one so young and full of life, the shock is greatest. It has been a privilege to have known Randy and served as his accountant for many years. His cheerful calls and upbeat emails will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies to his wife Lorene Berlin, former wife Lee O'Brien, his two children and extended family on this most unexpected and tragic loss.
