I have has the pleasure of working with Randy in the Seattle Market. It was the Best Team of District Folks and Store Merchandisers ever. Randy was so smart and quick with a humorous remark.

I was extremely blessed to work for Randy as his executive secretary at JCPenney. He truly changed the course of my life - as I had been working for an executive that retired from the executive floor and those big jobs are far and few between. Randy inquired what was going to happen to me when my executive retired - and not only did he hire me - he promoted his last secretary transforming both of our lives for the better. Randy left for QVC a short time later - but I never forgot what a great boss and person he was - and how I may have never made it 28 years at JCPenney without his kindness. It was an honor to work with Randy. His leadership and integrity left a lasting impression on all of us. Please know that his memory lives on in the lives he touched - mine included. I´m deeply saddened by Randy´s passing. He saw something in me I hadn´t yet seen in myself-and his belief, encouragement, and guidance changed the course of my career. He opened doors I didn´t know existed and pushed me to grow beyond what I thought possible. Randy was generous with his wisdom and deeply committed to helping others succeed. I´ll always be grateful for the trust he placed in me and the opportunities he created. His impact lives on in the many lives he touched.

I was fortunate to work with Randy at QVC. He was an exceptional leader. He genuinely cared about his team and always made time to mentor and coach. He taught me a great deal and I am grateful.

Sad to hear the news.
Randy was very close with my father in the early days of QVC´s success.
Randy was an icon and a pillar of values in business.
