Randy Smith Obituary
Yadkinville
Mr. Randy Dale Smith, 55, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022 at Hugh Chatham Hospital. Mr. Smith was born September 5, 1967 in Iredell County to Curtis Lee and Hazel Cheek Smith. He enjoyed fishing, boating and telling jokes.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a sister, Sandy (CW) Toney; brothers, Ricky Smith, Michael (Cindy) Smith, and Dennis (Tracy) Smith; wife, Tina Willard; several nieces and nephews; and a special K-9 companion, Abby.
A funerals service will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Bobby Prevette officiating. Burial will follow at United Fellowship Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Brody, Daniel Harker and the staff of Hugh Chatham Hospital ER.
Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Smith family.

Tina, Ricky, Sandy, Michael, Dennis I still find this hard to believe. Randy was one of the better people I've ever known. He will surely be missed. Our love goes to all of you and thoughts and Prayers.
