I can still remember my first job of mowing his yard when he and Karen lived in Aurora. I was so little I couldn´t push the mower so Ransom pushed it and cut the grass and I think I got the money which probably went towards baseball cards.

I also remember talking to him once about some financial issues and our comments were similar at one point weren´t they 1 million in the red 2 million in the red 3 million in the and why did they have to wait until they were 8 million in the Red before they did anything? It´s something I appreciated about my uncle is that he could be observant and critical but still supportive of a cause. I have many more stories, but that will have to do for today. Many people are one or the other. It takes a special talent to be both.

Ransom: My favorite 70+ year old self-described adolescent, with a zest for life, an eye for truth, and a heart for those in need. Follow the money, he would say. But money for him was simply a means to care for others in concrete ways.

I remember Ransom´s expertise as the treasurer of our church in Winter Springs. Such a smart man. He did have a sense of humor. Ransom will be missed. Mike and Jan Meredith
