Ras Robinson Jr. Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 17, 2023.
Ras Berry Robinson Jr. passed from this earth into the arms of Jesus on July 8, 2023. He was 88 years old. Ras was born on March 20, 1935 in Ovett, Mississippi to Ras Berry Robinson Sr. and Irah Olivia Campbell Robinson. He married the love of his life, Beverly Jane Hartsfield Robinson on June 15, 1956. She preceeded Ras in death.

Ras was a member of the Air Force and served during the Korean War. He was stationed in the Philippines and attended the University of the Philippines. After the service he attended and graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) with his MBA degree. Geaux Tigers!

After graduation, Ras and Bev moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he was the head of Broadman Press publications division. In 1975, he moved his family to Fort Worth, TX to go into full-time Christian ministry. Ras was in ministry until the time of his death (almost 50 years).

Ras founded Fullness in Christ Ministries. Together he and Bev traveled the world teaching others about Jesus, leading people into the Spirit-filled life and teaching others how to Live Life to the Fullest. He started "What the Lord is Saying Today" in 2001 where he prophetically heard the Lord for thousands of people with a mailing list of over 12,000 people. He published Fulness magazine/Fullness Magazine Online dedicated to encouraging and equipping fellow Christians, planted Fullness in Christ Church and set up ministries in the Philippines and Peru to educate, feed and give spiritual covering to children who had no means of education.

He is preceded in death by his wife Bev, his brother Oral, his sisters: Edna, Mildred, Delphia and Margie. He leaves behind his daughter Robin Bohlin and son-in-law Jonas of Fort Worth, Texas, son Kevin Robinson and daughter-in-law Jeanette and granddaughter Kaytlin and her husband Brandon Perez of Saginaw Texas. Grandson Joshua Bohlin and wife April, great grandson Jaxon and great granddaughter Heidi, Granddaughter Rebekah Arboleda and husband Dennis, great grandsons Campbell, Charlie and Oliver, great granddaughter Carolina. Granddaughter Rachel Bohlin, great grandsons Bryce and Cade and ministry partner and friend Kathy Bohlin. He is preceded in death by his parents and many ministry partners.

Ras changed the atmosphere wherever he went. He was a five-fold minister who exemplified the: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. He is known for being one of the fathers of the Non-denominational movement. Many Baptist pastors and congregations stepped into the Spirit-filled life because of him. He was a signs, wonders and miracles man!

He ended his legacy with devoting his life to breaking the endemic cycle of poverty for poor children in the Philippines. He and FCM are famous in the Philippines for feeding, educating and spiritually helping children on different islands. The local pastors and the children in the Philippines affectionately call him "Dad Ras".

Ras' memorial will be on Friday, August 11, 2023 at 2pm at Fullness in Christ Church, 8895 Random Road, Fort Worth, TX 76179. All are welcome. Donations may be given in his honor to: Fullness in Christ Ministries at https://fullnessonline.kindful.com.

I met Ras at a conference 30 years ago
In Arlington, Texas
His sincerity and passion for souls was so powerful! He talked about connecting the net and using the internet to spread the Good News.
He profoundly impacted my ministry

I was revisiting some Fullness On Line I saved in a book and just google to see if Ras was still in the earth. I saved several of His words but could not find the one I most remembered which was about shoes rubbing the back of your heals. I so much remember that one! I have water blisters on my heels when I made it back home. January 23,2024 Norma from Indianapolis, IN

In1985 a Baptist friend asked me, a United Methodist pastor, to read her copy of Fullness magazine & tell her what i thought. That began a search to know Holy Spirit. Ras did aFullness conference in Hendersonville NC in fall 1989 & then Spartanburg that we attended in 1990. That altered our course, & the promises of those days are now being fulfilled. I never personally met him, but we owe him big. Thank you.

Sending condolences to the family and friends in the passing of Ras Robinson Jr. I have been reading the messages from him and his wife, Bev, and their daughter, for many years. Recently, I have noticed others are coming on board to spread the messages of Jesus. Laura Estabrooks from New Brunswick, Canada. God Bless you and give you strength and peace at this difficult time.

I've been reading the daily prophetic words since the early 2000's then began sponsoring a young boy then also his two brothers as well about 10 years ago. The daily words and the work with the children has truly touched my heart and life! What an inspiration Ras & Bev have been (and Kathryn as well!) to so many! And now they are part of the Cloud of Witnesses cheering us on from their eternal home! Much love to the entire family, church and all those touched by them in Philippines, Peru and emails! God bless you all

As Ras now joins Bev and living with Jesus- I selfishly am sad he had left this earth. I read this email everyday for over 15 years. And many times I have felt like I am sure many do- God is speaking directly to me. I thank his family for continuing these wonderful messages daily. You all are helping the spirit of the Lord reach into our life and hearts. RIP Ras. Your life was a beautiful mission and you all are making a difference

Through Fulness magazine Ras was one of my spiritual fathers. His writings and wise stewardship of the Spirit filled life helped me as a conservative Baptist to enter the renewal of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Ras for taking the leadership mantle and being faithful in your assignment

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. There are no words adequate to express my condolences and gratitude to your father as well as your mother. They both ministered to me numerous times and their word from the Lord were SPOT on.
