Hi Grandpa it is November, your birth month. I am going to graduate! Can you believe it, Grandpa? I am doing so well in school, and I have a job. My life is going semi-well and I know that you are taking care of me. I know that you would be proud of how well I am doing and how much I have grown. Once again, I miss you, and rest well Grandpa.

Raul Serrano was a mentor who I would see almost daily. He would help me with my homework, tell my stories of past sports athletes, and always told me to take care of my mother-- words I've never forgotten. I attended his brother's services too. Rey was another person dear to me. I loved them both very much. Rip Raul.

Hi grandpa it's me becky. I came on here because I remembered a song from this movie Coco and it reminds me of you. It's about Dia De Los Muertos. and i know its been almost 3 years with you gone but there's not a day goes by where i don't miss you. I wish you were still with us, but i know you have a nice spot in heaven for you. I know you are having a great time up there, whatever is making you happy. Like maybe eating some bread and drinking some coffee. I make better brownies now, I wish you could see. My sisters love them. Well rest well grandpa I will probably come back for your birthday.

SERRANO is what I always ❤ called you my greatest postal buddy I Ever had. I was 17 years old and you were 28 years old when we first met in the USPS. Back then it was just called The Post Office. We worked 20 years of our lives there. We saw and experienced many things working side by side each other. Thanks for helping me pull all those heavy sacks and for buying my lunch everyday in the Cafeteria. I will never forget we flew together to Guadalajara Mexico and my parents arrived there too by bus. I wanted my Parents to take our flight tickets but my Mother wouldn't do it. She wanted us to have the comfortable trip. My parents adored you Serrano, I hope you see them up there in Heaven. Cook a fine meal for them on Thanksgiving because I'll never forget what a great cook you were and those great Ruben sandwiches you used to make. Save a spot for me up there ok buddy. Take care of my Parents. RIP forever thinking of you as the wonderful bestfriend you were to me, your Yolie Soto

Uncle Raul, thank you for taking me places when I was a kid. I will always remember those childhood memories. Thank you for always greeting me warmly and with a smile when ever we met or talked. I will miss your greeting, "hey kid how are you doing." I will miss our conversations when I would catch up on the Serrano happenings. I will miss you dearly, uncle Raul. My condolences to the family, especially cousins Ruben and Melissa. May you rest in peace uncle.❤❤❤
