He was my Uncle Ray growing up. My Dad Steve Hossman´s best friend. Nancy was the love of his life and I saw that not knowing what that meant being so young. He was santa on the other line for years in a row I still remember his voice and laugh when I would call him out for being uncle Ray and not Santa. He´s one of the reasons i started to fly airplanes a few years ago. Will never forget him being apart of my family

I was thinking of Ray today and sadly when I looked online, I found his obituary. I dated Ray at Syracuse when he was a senior and I was a freshman and visited him in Weymouth and in San Diego one summer when he played for the Chargers. He was smart and handsome. I was happy to learn he found the "love of his life" in Nancy Jones and a great friend in Kraig Dorner. I am so sorry he and his wife suffered from Alzheimer's which I experienced while caring for my mother. I know Ray participated in studies of the disease and its effects of head injuries to football players. My heartfelt condolences to his brother Bob Mulligan and his relatives and friends on their loss of Ray.

To. Family of Ray White
Ray was one of the longtime regular basketball players with me at Pacific Beach Recreation Center Gym in San Diego. We enjoyed so many fun years of playing basketball. I also remember his successful years in the NFL playing for the San Diego Chargers & St. Louis Cardinals. I even was a passenger on a couple of Southwest Flights when Ray was our Pilot.
Great memories !
Best wishes,

I will remember Ray for his kindness, generosity to those in need, and his witty sense of humor. I will cherish all our memories; from our Weymouth High School days to the fun times we shared in more recent years. Ray was a dear friend who will never be forgotten.
