Ray Crabtree Obituary
He was the beloved husband of wife Lisbia Arias Crabtree and happily married for 5 years. He is survived by his son Charles and wife Kate Seevers, grandchildren Mackenzie, Hannah, and Elijah Seevers of Bolivar, MO. Son Zachary Crabtree of Raytown, MO. Stepdaughters Richell, Melanny, and Gerlis Barillas Arias of Los Angeles, CA. Brother Vincent and wife Michelle Crabtree of Warsaw, MO. Sisters April and husband Jeff Edgar of Bolivar, MO and Shanann Crabtree of Versailles, MO. Stepsisters Kathy and husband Thomas Gruetzemacher of Phoenix, AZ and Karla Vaughan of Anaheim, CA.
Ray grew up in Warsaw, MO where he went to school, worked on cars with his dad, and tended to the family farm with his siblings. Eventually, he moved to Kansas City, MO where he started a career in the hospitality industry, working in a variety of specialties such as a cook, baker, and restaurant management. In early 2013, he moved to California where he transitioned into working as the Director of Engineering for Resort Hotels. This career path led him to take a position at The Oasis Resort in Death Valley, CA where he and Lisbia settled into a home and intended to eventually retire there. He loved going fishing, gaming, and renovating. He was known as the "go to handy man" for friends and family and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He cherished his family and always had a special place in his heart for his mother Elaine and grandmother Ina Allen.
Join us Saturday, January 6, 2024, for a Celebration of Ray's Life from 12:00 - 3:00pm at the Jess Ranch Resort 11584 Wedgewood Dr. Apple Valley, CA 92308

A Celebration of Ray's Life is also being held in Warsaw, MO with his family and friends on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
