I met Ray and his wonderful family when they started their real estate business in Texas. My first impression was obvious - his grasp of numbers and his focus on the details of every deal were more than impressive. But as time passed, I had the amazing privilege of getting to know Ray and Linda and their children and it left an impression on me that I will carry forever. Even through the rigor of working through sometimes difficult deals, I can remember many times our conversation drifted to family where they often ended with a tear in his eyes as he talked about kids and grandkids. What a man and what a family, wow........

I remember his warm and wise ways, with his unique Southern charm. Will never forget the week's vacation with Jodi, Ray and Linda in Puerto Vallarta in the early 80s.
