thinking of Lisa and George today, tomorrow and often. But mostly for Ray, such a special guy. This candle is for you, Ray.

I miss you more than you'll know honey..not a day has gone by since you left..has my heart felt peace. It's second year & know that I'll always love you in my heart of hearts Raymond...I miss you constantly

I never met Ray in person. But in 1985 I had the pleasure of speaking to his wife and Ray himself. I am a Vietnam vet and after hearing brothers in the night I knew I wanted to tell the man who wrote and sang the song how my emotions we're just overwhelmed. I was able to speak to Ray several times and he sent me a copy of the song which I still have. I am saddened by his passing but I have a song that he sang with such passion that he will always be remembered Rip Ray

Ray was a sweet soul who will be dearly missed. Thank you for being so thoughtful and caring. My thoughts and prayers are with Lisa and all of Ray's family and friends.

I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye. RIP Uncle Ray.

Just wanted to add something....it's so great to see so many people comment on Ray's life on this planet. He thought out of the box.........totally......a rarity in our society these days.....he was a rebel....that could be bad and good....but really all good, he gave a lot and didn't do it for the $.......

Prayers of peace to all who knew him and loved him...he was very talented and very different which made him really cool......Love to all....

Ray brought you deep into a place of his interests talents and passions. There it was happy, stormy, and electric. With Ray one had to be ready at all times to laugh, to cry, to see great people, to discuss great ideas and make great plans. When Ray talked about how he loved his Lisa, his family, his music, his dog, his life, it was beautiful. How he faced challenges was inspiring. I learned so much about so much from Ray, and his spirit and his music will always be with us.

Ray Kennedy my friend ... I am awestruck by your journey in this life. I am saving all the pictures your friends and family are posting on your facebook page. I will not forget you and all your accomplishments. While I am still here I will talk about you and your kind good soul. We spoke like brothers at 4am and hashed out soulful issues. You will be proud of your love lisa on how well she is handling herself. She has made amazing realizations in herself. Like an onion peeling it's layers. I have been learning more about you through your friends posts and what I am learning is that you were loved by all! I know you can see this. Knowing you can see this makes me feel that you have a big smile on that Ray Kennedy face* Cheers my friends and get the place ready so when we join you we can celebrate!

Big heart, funny, thoughtful , kind , giving, very very good person. Ray will never change. Love.

Ray and I share the same birthday, although different years. We always kidded each other about who was younger (he was).
Always a smile and laugh and a hug.
We lost another sweetheart. Damn!

Death is never timely and always feels sudden
We all want more time with the people we love and Ray although a new friend and musical acquaintance to me was one of the teachers who spoke to me through my record collection
Knowing him and sharing the stage was truly an honor
We will all miss your spirit and smile but will always hear your voice

Besides Ray's awesome music, Ray had a huge heart and was a pleasure to be around. He will be sorely missed!

Ray had such a kind heart and great sense of humor and laugh....... I have thought of him often over the last several years .... we had a blast together just goofing off....

Dear Ray...just listening to your voice mail. I was away when you called getting a new Scottie puppy. I've named him "Liam Ray"...you would have loved him as you have loved all my doggies.We are all doing well..thanks for asking & checking in. I'll never forget the first time I met you with our manager Bob Levine when I was 15. The moment I heard you with Group Therapy, all I could think of was "Holy Crap..this guy can SING!" Your heart and talent went together...you were the real deal and I'm so glad we had the chance to reconnect as adults. You are very loved, and very missed. XO
