Our sincerest condolences to the entire Reiker family during this time of great sorrow. Ray, Gin and Amanda were our neighbors many years ago when we all lived in Bear Creek on Pine Mountain Drive. During that time, I came to know Ray as one of the kindest and most honorable individuals I've ever known. He was always prepared to do anything to lend a hand if you were in need and I always considered him a great friend. Ray will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him and while his loss weighs heavy on our hearts today, Bettie and I hope his family will find some measure of comfort in knowing Ray is home and Heaven will certainly be richer with his presence.

Our neighbor and friend, Ray will be missed and his memory cherished. Ray and I happily competed with each other on Christmas light and Halloween displays every year to make Archley Drive the must-see alcove in Hilshire Village. Ray lived for his family. Every conversation started and ended with his joyful updates about granddaughters Madison and Sara. There was never a favor he would not grant or hand he would not lend. All of our love and the comfort of our Lord to Virginia. Ray, we will finish that bottle of Glenfiddich we started in your work-shop/playhouse one day from a better place. If, as is likely, I get stopped at the door, I will tell St. Peter that I am with you, maybe then he will let me sneak in.
All our love,
Chris and Norma
