Ray Lucska, a beloved member of the community, passed away on July 21, 2023, at the age of 76. Born on June 23, 1947, in Detroit, Ray was known for his charismatic personality and his knack for making everyone around him laugh. He had a natural talent for cracking jokes and bringing joy to those in his presence.
Ray had a deep passion for sports, particularly golf. He could often be found on the golf course, perfecting his swing and enjoying the beauty of the game. In addition to golf, Ray contributed to the Plymouth community by coaching youth hockey and baseball. His dedication to mentoring young athletes was commendable and impacted countless lives throughout the years.
Ray's family meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his loving children: Jamie Lucska, Fawnde (Doug) Callow, Andre (Radwa Herrick) Lucska, Keterae (Rich Scott) Lucska and Frankie Lucska. Ray was also blessed with several grandchildren who adored him dearly: Chris Callow, Brooks (Autumn) Belhart, Cassidy (Ian) Kennedy, and Zara Lucska. The joy of Ray's life extended even further with the arrival of his great-grandchildren: Jax, Riley, Brady, Lou, and Harper.
Friends and family will gather to celebrate Ray's life at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home located at 280 S. Main St in Plymouth on August 4th, 2023. A visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Ray Lucska's legacy as a jokester, coach, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and sibling will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. He touched numerous lives with his infectious laughter, kindness, and dedication. Ray will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life.
