Raye Daulton, Jr. Obituary
Raye Lee Daulton, Jr., age 38 of Somerset, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Raye was born on March 2, 1982 in Ypsilanti, MI to Candace Matthews and the late Roy Lee Daulton. He was a very hardworking man and loved the outdoors. Raye worked in masonry for several years and currently was working at Menzner Hardwood. He especially loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda McCurry Daulton, whom he married on October 18, 2015 in Elkhorn City, KY; his children, Hunter Daulton of Somerset, Railey Daulton of Somerset, Candyce McCurry of Elkhorn City, KY, Kennedi McCurry of Elkhorn City, KY and Annabelle Adkins of Elkhorn City, KY; his mother, Candace Matthews; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mark “Pops” and Robin “Mom” McCurry of Elkhorn City, KY; two brothers, Rodney (and Paula) Daulton of OK and Randy (and Christine) Daulton of MI; two sisters, Ann Miller of Somerset and Susan Daulton of Somerset; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and one aunt, Sherry Ratliff.
A private visitation will be held for the immediate family at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. A private graveside will also be held for the immediate family with Bro. Steve Mullins officiating at Norfleet Cemetery.
